Sterilight's Copper™ line of disinfection systems is our "entry" level UV system. This modular system, incorporating our integral Copper™ ballast, is ideal for small POU applications such as post filtration, or as a pre or post application on a residential RO system. The electronic Copper™ ballast is available in either a 100-130V./50-60Hz. supply or a 200-250V./50-60Hz. supply and comes with an LED "power-on" indicator. Three models are available in flow rates of 1, 2.5 and 4 gpm (4, 9.5 and 15 lpm).

These systems are manufactured with axial flow reactors in 304 stainless steel and come with unique combinations ports with 3/8" FNPT / 1/2" MNPT connections. Although Copper is our most economical system, quality is evident throughout with fire-polished domed quartz sleeves and seamless connections. Sterilume™-EX coated low pressure germicidal UV lamps can be easily changed without interrupting the water flow and the overmoulded integral ballast/connector can be removed without any additional tools.

Features

It is strongly recommended for maximum efficiency of your UV Sterilization that you pre-filter your water with a 5 µ sediment cartridge.

Do not connect plastic pipe or tubing directly to UV system because the UV light will break down plastic over time. The best way to make the connection is with Dielectric Unions that allow for a connection from stainless steel to copper that will not corrode. We have dielectric unions available in ½", ¾" & 1" sizes.
